Stars Within and an easy Tote

First of all a big Thank You to those of you who ordered my first paper piecing pattern “Flying High”. It was easy, right? I’d love to see pictures of your finished quilt. And how do you like patterns in PDF format? They can be downloaded instantly and there are no shipping and handling costs.

Today I have a link to a couple of videos. The first one is the October Strip Club quilt by Daniela of Cozy Quilt Design. Daniela did it again, she came up with a terrific design that looks complicated, but is actually quite easy to put together. Just click on the link to see how it is put together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOrthFJQgQo

Pattern is available from www.cozyquilt.com or your local quilt shop.

The next video is by Laura Coia of Sew Very Easy. Laura shows how to use a paper gift bag as a pattern for a fabric one. If you are like me you probably have stacks of paper gift bags in all different sizes, but making them from fabric is special and they are so easy and quick to do. They make nice gifts all by themselves and become extra special when stuffed with something, a few fat quarters perhaps or some cookies or chocolate.

Until next time.
